Want to build a small home server or office PC from your own parts? An Intel NUC10i3FNH Tall barebones kit gives you the chassis and board to start with. This one is listed as tested and open box, comes in its retail box and costs $99.50. It has no RAM, no SSD and no operating system.
What do I need to finish an Intel NUC10i3FNH barebones build?
Plan to buy memory, a storage drive and an OS license on top of the kit price. Check Intel's spec sheet for compatible memory and drive types before you order parts.
- Confirm the power adapter is included, since barebones listings vary.
- Check which drives fit inside the Tall chassis before you buy storage.
- Ask what 'tested' covered, such as powering on or booting into the BIOS.
- It works well for a home lab, a media PC or light office use.
