About this item
The Apple A1242 wired USB aluminum keyboard suits desks where a cable beats batteries. This new MB869LL/A model has two USB ports built into the keyboard. An independent eBay seller lists it at $75.99.
Why pick a wired Apple aluminum keyboard over a wireless one?
There's no charging, no pairing and no dropouts. You plug it in and type, which works well for office workers, writers and older Mac setups.
- Connection: it connects over USB, so a computer with only USB-C ports will need an adapter.
- Built-in ports: the two USB ports are handy for a mouse or flash drive. Check the listing for details.
- Layout: make sure the key layout in the photos is the one you want.
- Packaging: check the photos to see whether it's in its original packaging.
