About this item

At $44.99, the AOC 16T15 15.6-inch portable monitor is a low-cost way to give a laptop a second screen. This certified refurbished unit lists 220 cd/m2 brightness, an 800:1 contrast ratio and built-in speakers.

Is a 220-nit portable monitor bright enough?

Indoors, it's workable for spreadsheets, notes, chat windows or a reference document. In a bright room or near a sunny window it will look dimmer, so plan to use it at a desk or table.
