About this item
The Imprex Prime Qs POS system is listed new at $299.99 for small businesses setting up a checkout counter, from boutique retail to coffee shops and food trucks. The title doesn't list the hardware, so a little homework now will save you trouble on opening day.
What should you confirm before buying a POS terminal like the Prime Qs?
Make sure it works with the point of sale software you plan to use and with the devices you already own, like printers and scanners.
- Look in the listing for the processor, RAM, storage and operating system.
- See whether a customer-facing display, stand or power supply is included.
- Check that the ports work with your receipt printer, cash drawer and barcode scanner.
- Ask the seller whether any software license comes with it.
