About this item
This Lenovo ThinkPad X380 Yoga 2-in-1 laptop has a 13.3-inch touchscreen, an Intel Core i5, 8GB of RAM and a 256GB drive. The seller states up front that the battery is bad. At $139, it's priced as a project or as a machine that stays plugged in at a desk.
Is a ThinkPad X380 Yoga with a bad battery worth buying?
It can be, if you'll mostly use it plugged in or you're comfortable buying and fitting a replacement battery. Add that cost to the price before you decide.
- Ask whether a charger is included, since you'll rely on it.
- Check that the touchscreen and 2-in-1 hinge are described as working.
- Confirm whether an operating system is installed.
- Check photos for wear on the case and screen of this open-box unit.
