About this item
If you like a full layout with a number pad, the Apple Keyboard A1243 wired aluminum keyboard brings the classic Apple look with a numeric keypad built in. It suits accountants, data entry work, spreadsheet-heavy office desks and Mac users who prefer a cable over batteries. This listing is marked new at $44.99.
Does the wired Apple A1243 keyboard work with newer Macs?
Since it's a wired model, check its connector against your computer's ports. Newer Macs with only USB-C ports may need an adapter, so confirm the plug type in the listing photos.
- Packaging: ask whether it comes in its original sealed packaging.
- Layout: confirm it's the US key layout if that matters to you.
- Windows use: it can generally work with a PC, but the key labels follow Mac conventions.
- Photos: look for the A1243 model number on the label.
