About this item
Twenty-four dollars is a low price for a SteelSeries Apex 3 TKL RGB gaming keyboard. This open-box unit (model 64831, black) is described in its title as a mechanical, wired board. With no number pad, you get more room for wide mouse swipes, which is why FPS players like tenkeyless layouts.
What should I check on an open-box Apex 3 TKL?
Find out whether the seller tested it and whether anything is missing from the box.
- Ask if every key and the RGB lighting were checked after unboxing.
- Look in the photos for damaged keycaps or a frayed cable.
- Confirm the model number 64831 matches the label.
- Check that the layout fits your region.
