About this item
Red linear switches are the draw on this Keychron K8 Max wireless mechanical keyboard. They have no bump and no click, just a straight keystroke that many gamers and fast typists prefer. It's model K8M-J1, listed open box at $74.99.
Are Red linear Super switches good for typing and gaming?
Linear switches travel smoothly from top to bottom, which suits rapid inputs in games and quieter office typing. If you prefer feeling each actuation, a tactile switch may suit you better.
- Charging: check that a cable is included. If it's rechargeable, ask about battery condition.
- Receiver: if the description mentions a wireless dongle, confirm it's in the box.
- Keycaps: look in the photos for shine or missing caps.
- Switch test: ask whether every key registers reliably.
