About this item
The HyperX Alloy Origins mechanical keyboard is a wired USB board with RGB lighting, listed new in black for $100.00. It's aimed at gamers who want mechanical keys and lighting effects, and it handles office typing just as well on a desk that stays put.
Is the HyperX Alloy Origins a good gaming keyboard?
Plenty of players prefer a wired mechanical board, since there are no batteries to charge mid-match. The switch type shapes the feel, so check that first.
- Switch type: look in the listing or photos for the switch name or color.
- Size: confirm whether it has a number pad and fits your desk.
- Cable: check the USB cable is included and undamaged.
- Software: lighting control may need an app, so confirm it supports your OS.
