About this item
Budget-minded buyers who still want 16GB of memory should look at this certified refurbished HP EliteBook 745 G6 14 inch laptop. It runs a Ryzen 5 Pro 3500U with a 256GB SSD and Windows 11 Pro, in silver, for $287.99. That's enough for schoolwork, office documents, web apps and video calls, at a fraction of the cost of a new machine.
Is an older HP EliteBook 745 G6 still worth buying?
For everyday productivity, often yes. It's an earlier-generation model, so it won't match newer laptops on speed or battery life, but 16GB of RAM helps with multitasking.
- Battery: ask about runtime or battery health, which matters most on older laptops.
- Storage: 256GB fills up quickly, so plan on cloud or external drives.
- Refurb details: read the seller's grading notes.
- Charger: confirm it's included.
