About this item
Video editors, photographers and analysts who work with big files often run out of drive space before they run out of processing power. This Dell T7820 Tower with dual Xeon Gold 6126 chips solves that with a 1TB SSD. It also has 32GB of RAM, K2000 graphics and Windows 11 Pro, Certified - Refurbished at $1,119.99.
Does a 1TB SSD Xeon Gold workstation make sense for media work?
A bigger SSD keeps the operating system, apps and current projects on one fast drive. The K2000 is a basic card, though, so effects that rely on the graphics card may need a graphics upgrade.
- Editing software: check whether your editing software relies on the graphics card.
- Archive drives: look for free bays if you want a separate drive for finished work.
- Memory: check the listing for how the RAM modules are set up.
- Accessories: see what cables come with it.
