About this item
This refurbished Dell 7040 Micro desktop has an Intel Core i7-6700T, 8GB of RAM and a 128GB SSD, runs Windows 10 Home, and is listed at $353.99. Its small size suits reception desks, kiosks, a kids' homework station or a spare office PC.
Is a Dell 7040 Micro with Windows 10 still a smart buy?
The hardware is older and Windows 10 is no longer supported, so plan ahead. Many buyers upgrade the OS, but check whether this 6th-gen i7 meets the Windows 11 requirements before you count on it.
- 128GB is tight, so consider a larger SSD if you keep files on the PC.
- 8GB handles light office work, but heavy multitaskers may want more RAM.
- Confirm that the power adapter is included.
- Compare the price with newer refurbished mini PCs.
