About this item
The HP Envy x360 15.6" 2-in-1 touch laptop (15m-cn0012dx) switches between laptop and tablet-style use, which is handy for note-taking and presentations. It has an i7-8550U, 12GB DDR4, a 256GB SSD and a full touch screen, and it's listed certified refurbished at $613.99.
Is a refurbished HP Envy x360 with i7-8550U still good for school or work?
For documents, browsing, video calls and light photo editing, yes. It uses an older processor, though, so it isn't a pick for modern gaming.
- Battery: look for notes on battery health, which matters most on a refurbished laptop.
- Charger: confirm that a charger is included.
- Stylus: the title doesn't mention a pen, so don't assume one comes with it.
- Storage: 256GB fills up fast, so consider cloud or external storage.
A flexible option for students and office users who want a touch screen without paying for a new laptop.
