About this item
This Dell Precision 5530 15.6-inch FHD laptop has an uneven spec sheet: a strong Intel i9-8950HK and NVIDIA Quadro P2000 graphics, but only 8GB of RAM and a 128GB SSD. At $713.99 certified refurbished, it makes sense if you're willing to add memory and storage.
Is the Precision 5530 with Quadro P2000 good for CAD and editing?
The processor and pro graphics are aimed at design and creative software, but 8GB of RAM will hold back large projects. Budget for an upgrade if you plan on demanding work.
- Check with the seller whether the RAM and SSD can be upgraded on this unit before you buy.
- 128GB fills up quickly once Windows 10 Pro and your apps are installed.
- The title lists Windows 10 Pro. Check whether the laptop can move to Windows 11.
- Look for battery health and charger details in the listing.
