About this item
At $50 new, the Corsair K70 Core RGB mechanical gaming keyboard is a cheap way into a well-known keyboard line. This version has red linear switches, which press smoothly with no tactile bump or click. Gamers like them for fast play, and they're quieter for typing than clicky switches.
Are red linear switches good for gaming and typing?
Linear switches handle rapid, repeated presses in games well. Many people like them for long typing sessions too, though some typists prefer tactile feedback.
- Layout: check whether it's full-size and which language layout it uses.
- Connection: confirm in the description whether it's wired or wireless.
- Box contents: see whether a wrist rest or extra keycaps are included.
- Condition: the title says new, and photos of a sealed box help confirm it.
A good choice for students, gamers and home offices on a budget.
