About this item
Need a cheap computer for a TV, a kiosk or a kid's homework corner? The ACEPC AK2 mini PC has an Apollo Lake processor, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of built-in storage. This open-box unit is priced at $65.00.
What is an Apollo Lake mini PC with 4GB RAM good for?
It's best for light tasks: web browsing, streaming video, email, documents and simple digital signage. It isn't built for heavy multitasking, video editing or modern games.
- Storage: 64GB fills up fast. Check the description for a microSD or drive slot, or plan on USB storage.
- Operating system: Find out what's installed and whether it's activated.
- Box contents: The seller says it's new in box. Check that the power adapter is included.
- Mounting: If you want it behind a monitor, look for a VESA bracket.
