About this item
This maxed-out ThinkPad P16 Gen 3 with 128GB RAM and 8TB is for projects too big for ordinary laptops. Think huge simulation datasets, multi-camera 8K timelines, local AI models or large photogrammetry scans. The title also lists an Ultra 9 285HX, RTX Pro 4000 8G graphics and a 16" 3.2K OLED touch display. An independent eBay seller lists it new at $7,599.
Do you need 128GB RAM and 8TB in a ThinkPad P16 Gen 3?
Only if your work will actually use that much. A similar P16 Gen 3 with 64GB and 1TB is listed for $4,799. Weigh that $2,800 difference against the size of your files.
- Drives: Ask whether the 8TB is one drive or several, and how it is set up.
- Memory: Confirm how the 128GB is installed.
- Charger: Make sure the power adapter is in the box.
- Coverage: Ask the seller whether any manufacturer support applies.
At this price, it helps to know the eBay Money Back Guarantee applies.
