About this item
Sitting between the other P16 builds, this ThinkPad P16 Gen 3 OLED workstation with 128GB RAM and 2TB has the full memory but half the storage of the 4TB version. It is priced at $5,999.00 and listed as new. The Ultra 9 285HX, RTX Pro 4000 8GB and 16-inch 3.2K OLED touch display are unchanged.
Should you pick 2TB storage on a 128GB ThinkPad P16?
If your big files live on a NAS, a cloud drive or an external SSD, 2TB is often enough. The savings over 4TB can go toward accessories. If you keep video archives or large datasets on the laptop itself, the 4TB model is the better choice.
- Confirm that the 128GB is system memory and the 2TB is SSD storage.
- Check the installed OS and any recovery media.
- Look for the charger in the photos.
- Ask about warranty details, since none appear in the title.
