About this item
Some people simply prefer a cable. The Apple wired USB keyboard A1242 (MB869LL/A) plugs in, so there's no pairing or batteries to manage. An independent eBay seller offers this aluminum model open box for $39.95, though the seller's title also uses the word 'new.'
Will the A1242 Apple USB keyboard work with my computer?
It connects by USB. Check that your computer has a matching port or that you have an adapter, and confirm OS support in the listing.
- Number pad: look at the photos to see the layout and whether it has a numeric keypad.
- Open-box notes: read what the seller says about use, cosmetic marks or missing packaging.
- Cable: inspect the USB cable and plug in the images for wear.
- Fit: good for office desks, Mac setups and anyone tired of recharging.
