Is a maxed Intel NUC 12 Extreme a good buy open box?
It can be, since the GPU and storage upgrades have already been installed. The key step is confirming that every part matches the title.
- Graphics card: verify the installed card in the photos or a system screenshot.
- NVMe layout: ask how the 3TB is split across drives.
- Power: confirm the power cable is included.
- Thermals: ask about dust, fan noise and how the unit was used.
