About this item
The SteelSeries Apex 9 TKL mechanical gaming keyboard uses a tenkeyless layout that frees up room for wide mouse swipes. This new unit lists RGB lighting, a USB-C connection and Mac and PC compatibility, so it can move between a gaming rig and a work laptop.
Why pick a tenkeyless gaming keyboard like the Apex 9 TKL?
Dropping the number pad brings your mouse closer to center, which many FPS gamers prefer. If you enter numbers often, consider adding a separate numpad.
- Switches: the title doesn't specify the switch type; check the listing.
- Layout: confirm it's a US English layout if that matters to you.
- Cable: make sure the USB-C cable is included.
- Desk fit: a TKL board pairs well with a large mouse pad on smaller desks.
