About this item
At $140 open box, the Samsung Odyssey G5 32-inch curved monitor (LS32CG554ENXZA) brings QHD resolution, a 165Hz refresh rate, 1ms response time and a deep 1000R curve to a budget gaming desk.
What does a 1000R curve mean on a 32-inch QHD gaming monitor?
1000R is a tight curve that wraps the screen around your field of view. Many players like it for racing games, shooters and immersive single-player games. For office work, it takes a little getting used to.
- GPU match: to get the most out of 165Hz at QHD, your graphics card has to push high frame rates at 1440p.
- Cables: check which ports and cables are included, since the connection affects whether you get the full refresh rate.
- Open box check: look for dead pixels or stand damage in the photos.
- Desk depth: a curved 32-inch panel needs space.
