About this item
Finding a vintage Samsung MD-1252G monochrome monitor listed as open box is unusual, which is part of the appeal of this 12-inch display at $150.00. It is a piece for retro computing collectors, restorers building a period-correct setup and anyone who loves the look of a single-color screen.
Will a vintage Samsung MD-1252G monochrome monitor work with my old PC?
Compatibility depends on the video standard and connector, and neither is spelled out in the title. Match those to your graphics card before you buy.
- Ask which input connector and video signal the monitor expects.
- Check the screen color (for example green, amber or white) in the photos.
- Request a powered-on photo to see brightness and any screen burn.
- Find out if the power cord and original box or manual are included.
Older displays are not suited to modern HDMI computers without special adapters.
