About this item
Collectors and retro PC fans looking for an IBM Rapid Access Pro keyboard should know this one is described as sealed new old stock (NOS), part number 09N5542. It uses a PS/2 connection, and the title mentions a USB adapter, so it can work with modern computers as well as older hardware.
Can the IBM Rapid Access Pro keyboard work on a modern PC?
The title includes a PS/2-to-USB adapter, which is the usual way to connect to computers without a PS/2 port. Check the description to confirm the adapter is in the box, and see whether the seller mentions any testing.
- Best fit: period-correct retro builds, display shelves or IBM collections.
- Packaging: check photos of the seal and box for crushing or tears.
- Opening it: part of the appeal is the sealed box, so decide before you unwrap it.
- Part number: check 09N5542 against any specific version you need.
