About this item
Loaded with 32GB of RAM, the System76 Meerkat meer4 with an i7-8559U also lists a 500GB M.2 NVMe SSD and Windows 11 Home. That much memory makes it a good fit for office multitasking, research with lots of browser tabs open, or light creative work.
What should I check on an open-box System76 Meerkat?
Open box means the packaging has been opened before, so the listing details matter more than usual.
- Accessories: confirm the power adapter is included.
- Software: check that Windows 11 Home is activated, not just installed.
- Condition: study the photos for scuffs and ask about any previous use.
- Ports: the title doesn't list them, so make sure there are enough for your monitor and peripherals.
The listing gives the processor's clock speed as 2.7GHz. At $649.77, your purchase is covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
