About this item
Collectors and fans of split ergonomic keyboards will recognize the vintage Microsoft Natural Keyboard Elite. This white example dates from 2001 and supports PS/2 and USB. It's described as brand new and sealed, listed at $149.95.
Should you open a sealed vintage Microsoft Natural keyboard?
That's the big decision. Sealed, it's a collectible. Opened, it's an everyday keyboard with a classic split design. Opening it will likely lower what a collector would pay for it later.
- Look closely at the photos to check the condition of the box and seal.
- Check which adapter or connection comes with it for PS/2 and USB.
- Many modern PCs don't have a PS/2 port, so USB matters if you plan to use it.
- Plastics and packaging can age over two decades, so ask the seller how it was stored.
