About this item
The Arteck HW197 wireless touch keyboard connects through a 2.4G USB link, so there's no Bluetooth pairing to deal with. At $35.00 new, it works well for a home theater PC, a laptop you present from, or anyone who wants to run a computer from across the room.
Does a 2.4G USB touch keyboard work without Bluetooth?
Yes. A 2.4G keyboard talks to its own USB receiver, so your device needs a free USB port, not Bluetooth. That makes setup quick on desktops and mini PCs.
- Receiver: the keyboard needs its receiver to work, so make sure it's included.
- Power: the title doesn't say whether it's rechargeable or uses batteries. Check the listing.
- Touch area: look at the photos to see the size and layout of the touch surface.
- Device support: make sure your operating system is supported.
