About this item
A Dell Latitude E7470 laptop at $189 is a cheap way into a business-style machine. This open-box unit lists an Intel i5-6300U, 16GB RAM, a 512GB SSD, Windows 11 Pro, an HD display and WiFi.
Is a Dell Latitude E7470 still good for everyday work?
It handles email, documents, web apps and video calls, and the 16GB RAM and SSD help it stay responsive. The i5-6300U is an older chip, so skip this one for gaming or heavy editing.
- Battery: on an older laptop, battery health matters most. Look for a stated capacity or runtime.
- Charger: check that one is included.
- Windows 11 Pro: make sure the listing says it's activated.
- Screen: HD usually means a lower resolution than Full HD, so check the exact panel if sharpness matters.
