About this item
At $1,299, this open-box ASUS ROG Strix G16 gaming laptop combines a Ryzen 9 (R9) processor, an RTX 5060 graphics card, 16GB of memory and 1TB of storage in a gray 16-inch chassis. It's aimed at players who want current NVIDIA graphics without paying flagship prices.
Is the ROG Strix G16 with RTX 5060 good for gaming and streaming?
That GPU and an R9 chip make a capable pairing for modern games and casual streaming. Exact performance depends on the specific CPU model, so check the listing.
- Confirm the full Ryzen 9 model number and the display's resolution and refresh rate, which the title leaves out.
- 16GB is workable for gaming. If you multitask heavily, check whether the RAM can be upgraded.
- Ask whether the open-box unit was powered on or used.
- Make sure the charger is listed as included.
