About this item
If you've been comparing ThinkPad P1 Gen 8 workstation laptops, this open-box listing at $2,799.00 offers an Ultra 7 255H, 32GB of RAM, a 1TB SSD, RTX PRO 2000 graphics and a UHD+ screen.
Who needs a ThinkPad P1 Gen 8 workstation instead of a gaming laptop?
Professionals running engineering tools, GIS, 3D rendering or color-critical editing often prefer a pro GPU and a business-focused ThinkPad design. Gamers will likely get more frames per dollar elsewhere.
- Value check: open-box items vary, so look at what's included, such as the box, charger or accessories.
- Memory: 32GB suits most pro work. Ask whether it can be upgraded if you need more.
- Storage: a 1TB SSD is ample for active projects, but plan to archive older work to external drives.
- Condition photos: check the corners, lid and screen.
