About this item
Developers running virtual machines, audio producers and anyone who wants a compact Intel Mac with room for big projects will appreciate this Apple 2018 Mac mini. It has a 3.2GHz 6-core i7, 64GB of RAM, a 512GB PCIe SSD and the '10G' noted in the title (configuration Z0ZT00078), priced at $999.99 and marked open box.
Is a 2018 Mac mini i7 with 64GB RAM still worth it?
It depends on your software. Check which macOS versions your apps require, since this is an Intel Mac rather than Apple silicon, and weigh that against the generous memory.
- Networking: ask the seller to confirm exactly what '10G' refers to.
- Activation Lock: make sure it's signed out of the previous owner's Apple ID.
- Installed macOS: see which version is loaded.
- Cables: check whether a power cord is included.
