About this item
This custom gaming PC with an i7-6700 and RTX 3060 12GB targets budget gamers who care most about the graphics card. At $759.98, it also includes 16GB of RAM, a 1TB SSD and Windows 11.
Is an i7-6700 gaming PC with an RTX 3060 still worth buying?
For 1080p gaming, the RTX 3060's 12GB of video memory carries much of the load. The older i7 processor can limit frame rates in CPU-heavy games.
- Windows 11: the i7-6700 is not on Microsoft's official Windows 11 CPU list, so ask how it was installed and whether updates work normally.
- Power supply: request the PSU make and wattage.
- Parts age: 'new' may refer to the build, so ask which components are new and which are used.
- Upgrade path: check the motherboard model for future options.
