About this item
The AOOSTAR WTR Max mini PC with an AMD 8845HS processor is sold as a barebone: the listing says no storage or RAM is included. At $549 new, in grey with WiFi, it suits builders who already own memory and drives or want to pick their own.
What do you need to finish an AOOSTAR WTR Max 8845HS build?
You'll have to add memory, at least one drive, and an operating system before it can do anything useful. Budget for those on top of the asking price.
- Check the listing for the supported RAM type and maximum capacity.
- Confirm the number and type of drive slots before ordering SSDs.
- See whether a power adapter is included in the box.
- Once it's set up, it's a good fit for a home lab, media server, or compact workstation.
