About this item
Not every Mac buyer needs Apple silicon. This 2018 Apple Mac Mini i7 (model A1993, Space Gray) pairs a 3.2GHz Core i7 with 32GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD for $599.99. It suits office work, coding and home media.
Is a 2018 Apple Mac Mini i7 still a good buy?
32GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD are generous for this model. As an Intel Mac, it can also run Windows through Boot Camp. The trade-off is software support, so check which macOS versions it can still run.
- Condition: it is listed as new, so ask the seller whether that means sealed or simply unused.
- macOS: confirm the installed version and that it isn't locked to an Apple ID.
- Power cable: check that one is included.
- Ports: make sure the outputs suit your monitor and accessories.
