About this item
Need workstation power without paying for the most expensive configuration? This ThinkPad P16 Gen 2 pairs an i7-14700HX with RTX 2000 Ada graphics, 32GB of DDR5 RAM and a 1TB SSD, all with a 16" WQUXGA 4K display. The open-box listing is priced at $1,995.00 and suits architects, CAD users, and photo or video editors.
RTX 2000 Ada or RTX 4000 Ada: which ThinkPad P16 Gen 2 do you need?
The RTX 2000 Ada is the more modest of the two professional GPUs and is well matched to 2D/3D CAD and mid-size models. Choose a higher tier only if your renders or simulations need it.
- 32GB of DDR5 is a solid starting point. Ask whether a slot is free for adding more.
- The title doesn't say whether the 4K panel is touch or OLED, so check the specifics.
- HX laptops draw a lot of power, so confirm that the correct power adapter is included.
- Review the open-box photos for wear on the chassis and keyboard.
