About this item
Budget-minded gamers can get high refresh and sharper detail with the Acer 27MGA0U X2 27" 2560x1440 180Hz monitor, a certified refurbished model priced at $116.84. The title lists 250 nits of brightness, a 1000:1 contrast ratio, a 16:9 aspect ratio and a 1ms response time.
Is a 180Hz 1440p monitor good for gaming and work?
For most people it's a strong balance. 1440p gives you more desktop room than 1080p for coding and multitasking, while 180Hz keeps fast games looking smooth if your graphics card can keep up.
- Brightness: 250 nits is fine for typical indoor lighting.
- Refurb condition: read the seller's notes on screen and casing marks.
- Cables: check which video cable, if any, is included.
- Mounting: look for VESA or stand adjustment details in the listing.
