About this item
Filling a server or homelab box with memory gets expensive fast. This lot of 22 Micron 32GB DDR4 2666MHz RDIMM server RAM modules is one way to do it in bulk. Each stick is 2Rx4 registered memory, part number MTA36ASF4G72PZ-2G6E1. Together they add up to 704GB for $2,499, listed as open box.
Will this 32GB 2Rx4 RDIMM lot work in my server?
RDIMMs only run in boards that support registered memory, which usually means server and workstation platforms. Standard desktop boards that take unbuffered memory won't accept them.
- Search your server's memory support list for MTA36ASF4G72PZ-2G6E1 or 2666MHz 2Rx4 RDIMMs.
- Confirm that all 22 modules are included, and ask whether each one was tested.
- Check your board's capacity limits per CPU before planning a full 704GB build.
- Avoid mixing these with modules of different ranks or speeds in the same channel.
