About this item
If your day runs on Google apps, the Acer Chromebook Plus 515 is worth a look. This new 15.6-inch model has a Core 5 120U, 16GB of DDR5 and a 256GB SSD running Chrome OS, listed at $390.
Is the Acer Chromebook Plus 515 enough for your workload?
For writing, research, video calls and streaming, 16GB of memory gives it comfortable headroom for lots of open tabs. If you rely on Windows-only software, a Chromebook may not be the right fit.
- Check the Chrome OS auto update date in the listing or on Google's support pages.
- Confirm whether the screen is touch or non-touch, since the title does not say.
- Make sure a charger is in the box.
- Think about cloud storage if 256GB feels small for your files.
A good match for students, remote workers and households sharing one laptop.
