About this item
The Corsair Carbide Series 200R ATX mid tower case (part number CC-9011023-WW) is listed open box for $59.99. It's an affordable shell for a first gaming rig or an office tower rebuild. A mid tower that takes ATX boards fits a full-size motherboard without the bulk of a full tower.
Is an open box Carbide 200R case a smart buy?
It can be, as long as the photos and description show everything you need. Open box usually means the packaging has been opened, so confirm what was taken out and what is still there.
- Check the listing for screws, standoffs and any accessory bag.
- Look at the photos of the side panel, front panel and feet for scuffs or cracks.
- Before you order, check that your graphics card length and cooler height fit inside the case.
- If the front I/O ports and fans aren't pictured, ask the seller about them.
