About this item
This Drop CTRL mechanical keyboard comes in the high-profile aluminum version and is listed as open box at $100. It suits typists, programmers and gamers who want a metal keyboard on the desk instead of another plastic one.
Is an open-box Drop CTRL aluminum keyboard worth it?
Often, yes, if the seller's photos and notes back up the condition. Open box usually means the packaging has been opened, so read the description to see what that means for this unit.
- The title doesn't name the switches, so check the listing to see which ones are installed.
- Look in the photos for the cable and any extras, like a keycap puller.
- Zoom in on the aluminum frame for scuffs, dents or scratches.
- Ask the seller if every key has been tested.
If the keyboard doesn't arrive as described, the eBay Money Back Guarantee covers the purchase.
