About this item
A 7 inch HDMI touch screen for Raspberry Pi like this one makes it simple to turn a Pi into a dashboard, retro game console or smart home control panel. It has a 1024x600 LCD and sells new for $35.29.
Will this 7 inch touch screen work with my Raspberry Pi model?
The title confirms HDMI video and touch, but it doesn't say how the touch connects or which Pi models are supported. Check the listing for compatibility notes and whether touch input runs over USB.
- Make sure the included cables match your Pi's ports.
- Check whether a case, stand or mounting screws are included.
- Desktop text is small at 1024x600, so set larger fonts or use a full-screen app.
- It may also work as a small HDMI monitor for other boards if the listing says so.
A handy part for makers, students and hobby projects.
