About this item
The Acer Nitro KG1 27 inch IPS monitor hits a popular combination for PC gaming: 2560x1440 resolution at a fast 200Hz. It also lists a 0.5ms response time, 250 nits of brightness and a standard 16:9 shape. This one is certified refurbished for $136.83, which suits mid-range builds and players moving up from 1080p.
Is 250 nits bright enough for a gaming monitor?
In a normally lit room it's usually enough for games and desk work. If your desk faces a sunny window, or HDR highlights matter to you, a brighter screen may suit you better.
- GPU: plan on a mid-range or better card to get close to 200Hz at 1440p.
- Ports: not listed. Check which input supports the full refresh rate.
- Refurb notes: read the seller's condition grade and look over the photos.
- Stand: check what adjustment the stand offers, or whether it has VESA mounting.
