About this item
An open-box Gigabyte B650 Gaming X AX AM5 motherboard for $69 is a low-cost way for gamers and home builders to move to the AM5 platform. It's a full-size ATX board, so you'll need a mid-tower or larger case.
What should I check on an open box AM5 ATX motherboard?
Open box can mean anything from an unused return to a board that was installed once. The socket area matters most, because the delicate pins on AM5 boards sit on the motherboard.
- Socket pins: ask for a close-up photo and make sure the protective socket cover is there.
- Accessories: compare what's in the photos, like screws or cables, with what the listing says is included.
- BIOS: if you plan to use a newer CPU, ask the seller which BIOS version is installed.
- Buyer protection: the eBay Money Back Guarantee covers your order.
