What should I check on an open box Dell XPS 14 laptop?
Open box listings vary a lot from seller to seller. Read the condition notes and look closely at every photo.
- Battery and screen: look for notes on battery health, scratches or dead pixels.
- Charger: confirm the power adapter is included.
- Memory: check the listing to see whether the RAM can be upgraded. Plan around 16GB unless it says otherwise.
- Storage: 512GB is enough for office files and apps, but heavy media users may want an external drive.
