About this item
An open-box Asus ROG Ally for $450 can be a tempting way into PC gaming on the go. The seller's title is just the product name, though. The description and photos are where you'll find out exactly which configuration you'd receive.
What should I check on an open-box ROG Ally listing?
Open box can mean anything from lightly tested to used for weeks. Confirm the details that affect value and day-one play.
- Model and storage: the title lists neither, so find the processor version and SSD size in the description.
- Charger: confirm a power adapter is included, and budget for one if it isn't.
- Screen and controls: look for photos of the display, sticks and buttons for wear or marks.
- Battery: ask the seller about battery health or runtime if the listing doesn't mention it.
The eBay Money Back Guarantee covers this purchase if it arrives not as described.
