About this item
The Aula F99 Pro wireless gaming keyboard is a budget way into custom keyboards. Its hot swappable switches can be pulled and replaced without soldering, so you can try a different feel later without buying a new board. This one comes in blue and white and is listed new at $44.95.
What does hot swappable mean on the Aula F99 Pro?
It means switches sit in sockets rather than being soldered in. Swap one out with a switch puller and the board keeps working, which is great for tinkerers and students on a budget.
- Check which switches come installed; the title doesn't name them.
- Ask whether a switch puller or keycap puller is included.
- Confirm the wireless connection types and that any receiver is in the box.
- Before buying new switches, check that they're compatible with the board.
A fun first board for gamers who like to experiment.
