About this item

Setting up front-desk or classroom stations on a budget? A new Acer Chromebox CXI3-4GNKM4 is a compact ChromeOS desktop suited to simple, browser-based work. Inside, it has an Intel Celeron 3867U, 4GB of DDR4 and a 32GB SSD.

New vs. open-box Acer Chromebox: which should you buy?

New listings cost more than open-box ones. If you're giving it as a gift or setting up several units, check the photos to confirm whether the box is sealed. If you're considering an open-box unit instead, weigh the savings against its condition notes.

• Pair it with any monitor, USB keyboard and mouse, and check which accessories the seller includes.
• It's best for Google Workspace, web portals, streaming and signage, not gaming.
• Check this model's ChromeOS automatic update date before you commit.
• Keep your files in the cloud, since 32GB fills quickly.
