About this item
The Acer Nitro V Slim 16" RTX 5070 gaming laptop balances price and performance. A Ryzen 7 260 and RTX 5070 power a WQXGA 180Hz display, with 16GB RAM, a 512GB SSD and Windows 11. It's listed new for $1,299.99.
Is a 180Hz WQXGA screen worth it on the Acer Nitro V Slim?
In competitive shooters and other fast games, a high refresh rate makes motion look smoother. The WQXGA resolution also keeps text and textures sharp, which helps when you use it for work.
- Storage: 512GB holds only a handful of large games, so plan for extra space.
- Memory: 16GB RAM handles most gaming. Ask whether it can be upgraded.
- Sealed and complete: confirm the charger and packaging are included.
- Portability: the Slim design suits students and players who carry it to class or LAN events.
