About this item
Honeywell PTM7950 phase change thermal paste comes as a 0.2mm pad, a common choice for laptop CPU and GPU repastes and graphics card maintenance. It goes on like a pad but softens when it heats up, filling gaps the way paste does. At $12.99, it suits PC tinkerers, laptop gamers and repair techs who want a tidy application.
How do you apply PTM7950 thermal pads?
Clean off the old compound and cut the pad to the size of the chip. Then peel off the protective film, press the pad into place and reinstall the cooler.
- Sheet size: the title doesn't give it, so check how many chips one sheet can cover.
- Thickness: 0.2mm is for direct contact with the processor chip. It doesn't replace thicker VRAM pads.
- Film layers: remove the protective film from both sides before mounting.
- Coverage: covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
