About this item
At $73.49, this open-box ASUS VA27D 27 inch monitor is a low-cost way to put a large LCD screen on a home desk. The 75Hz refresh rate feels a little smoother than a basic 60Hz panel when you scroll through documents or web pages.
Is the ASUS VA27D 27 inch monitor enough for work and school?
For spreadsheets, research, online classes and casual games, yes. Competitive gamers chasing high frame rates will want a faster screen, but most office users won't notice the difference.
- Check the listing for the panel resolution, since the title doesn't state it.
- Ask whether the stand, power cable and video cable are included.
- Look closely at the photos for screen scratches and any notes about dead pixels.
- Make sure the input ports match your PC or laptop before buying.
At this open-box price, it works well as a second screen or for a starter setup.
